We need your help to change the future of trade policy.

America’s trade policy has wrecked our economy and hurt working people in the US and around the world. We have the opportunity to bring sanity to US trade policy again in the form of the Trade Reform, Accountability, Development and Employment (TRADE) Act.

The bill which had over 115 congressional co-sponsors can get the country on track for a more balanced way to expand trade, learning from the mistakes of the past and setting standards for the future.

We now need you to urge your congressional members to cosponsor the 2009 TRADE act.
First introduced by Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Mike Michaud, “The TRADE Act” would make trade agreements accountable to the needs of consumers, the environment and people around the world. Among other things, the legislation requires the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to review all existing trade agreements using economic, security, human rights, social, and environmental indicators.

But to bring about this real change, we need you to contact your elected officials, and ask them to support trade reform that builds a future for all of us.
